UMD Student Government Association is committed to advocating for UMD students and participates in several student-led advocacy efforts throughout the year. The cornerstone of our advocacy campaign is Bulldog Lobby Day, a student-created event where UMDSGA takes students from UMD directly to the State Capitol to speak with state legislators. Past legislative priorities have included funding for the Chemistry and Advanced Materials Science Building (CAMS) and Cina Hall's recent renovations.
