I was in a peers 4 peers mental health advocacy group where we focused on students' mental health. In addition this past summer I was blessed with the opportunity to serve in the Appalachian service project to make homes warmer safer and drier in Breathitt county Kentucky.
What ideas do you believe you could bring to the table in Student Government Association? How would you pursue these changes?
I would assist in getting more of the student body involved in school activities. Positivity and school spirit are necessary to function in a great university such as ours! In addition, I would make it a priority for all to feel welcomed as a Bulldog, organized events such as those during welcome week were fantastic ways for incoming students like myself to feel at home.
